STAY CURRENT
Send me email updates about the conference.

Dear Industry Colleague:

There is no doubt that current economic conditions are affecting all businesses globally, and the broadcast industry is not immune from these effects.

Unfortunately, with broadcasters and exhibitors feeling the pinch of reduced travel budgets and operating in turbulent times, I regret to inform you that NAB has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2009 NAB European Radio Conference scheduled for 25-27 October in Athens, Greece.

NAB values its role as a leader in educational conferences and seminars for broadcasters around the world, and we did not make this decision lightly. Conference exhibitors, speakers and previous event attendees know that a main tenant of NAB's mission is to deliver top quality professional development opportunities for broadcasters while showcasing innovative technologies to help your business grow. In light of this unfortunate cancellation, we hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide this service for you at next year’s NAB Show on 12-15 April 2010.

We encourage you to visit www.nabshow.com and learn more about the NAB Show held annually in Las Vegas, Nev. The show brings together more than 1,300 exhibiting companies with approximately 185 companies exhibiting radio industry related technologies and products.

Thank you for your past support of the NAB European Radio Conference. We sincerely hope that NAB can be of service again to you in the near future and please do not hesitate to contact me with your comments.

Respectfully,

Margaret T. Cassilly
Vice President, International Operations
National Association of Broadcasters
