
Brad Bedford

Brad Bedford is responsible for marketing the Portable People Meter (PPMSM) audience measurement system in all international markets for Arbitron Inc. In addition, he negotiates licensing agreements and oversees international client services in those countries that use the PPM technology.
Mr. Bedford has more than two decades of experience working with Arbitron’s broadcasting and advertising clients, including service as manager of the West Coast division of radio station services and as vice president of the Internet Broadcasting Services division.
In 2000, Mr. Bedford was given the added responsibility of marketing Arbitron’s services to Asian countries. He was instrumental in Arbitron being selected by the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan to conduct a study of the Japanese consumer. In 2003, he became a member of Arbitron’s International PPM team.
Prior to joining Arbitron, Mr. Bedford worked in New York City at WNBC Radio as assistant to the program director and at WABC TV as an associate producer.
Mr. Bedford is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a degree in Communications and Sociology. While attending the University of Michigan, he served as a general manager at WCBN-FM.
