
Kevin Cassidy
President, Strategic Radio Solutions
Kevin Cassidy is the President of Strategic Radio Solutions (“SRS”), a company he founded in 1998 and that specializes in strategic brand research Marketing and “next-generation” music testing and air talent development. In all, the SRS team has experience in 24 countries and in all sized U.S. markets.
In 1999, Kevin joined AMFM to serve as a research specialist in the Office of Programming and Strategy in the role of Vice President of Music Strategy & Implementation. At the time, AMFM owned 450 stations across the United States. Kevin’s corporate role for AMFM was development of strategic research and the implementation of music strategy for AMFM's top 30 markets including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago.
When AMFM was acquired by Clear Channel, Kevin’s role changed to Senior Vice President and lead strategist for Broadcast Architecture, Inc., a division of Clear Channel Worldwide. During this time, Kevin developed the Strategic Research division for Broadcast Architecture. Since the inception of the strategic division, Kevin conducted Strategic research and implemented winning programming strategies for over 50 markets across the United States and in 22 different countries around the world.
Prior to joining AMFM, Kevin was a partner in The Research Group, the leading research/consulting firm in the United States and Europe. He left The Research Group in 1998 to form his own company.
Kevin’s experience also includes positions as Program Director and on-air personality for both major market and mid-market sized stations. His direct format experience includes CHR, Adult Contemporary, Hot AC, Alternative Rock, and Country.
