
Mikhail Eydelman
Mikhail Eydelman is one of the pioneers in the development of commercial radio in Russia. He is currently General Director of City-FM and Relax-FM in Moscow and is developing a network of radio stations for children to be launched later this year in Moscow, St. Petersburg and 20 big cities across Russia.
Eydelman was one of the founders of Avtoradio in the early 90’s. Throughout the mid-90’s he worked with Storyfirst Communications developing radio stations and networks across Russia. From 1998 to 2004, as Program Director and then General Director of Radio Maximum (Moscow), he developed and executed a broad music, audience and behavioral research program. In 2007, he won the “Best Media Manager of Russia” award.
Eydelman was educated in Russia at Perm’s Technical University (honors degree in management and electronic engineering) and in Sweden at Gothenburg University (music and musicology).
