Rich Harrington
Program Manager
President, RHED Pixel

Richard Harrington has had a long relationship with media. When he was seven, he was grounded for using magnets to rearrange the picture tube on the family’s 13-inch color TV (it works, but don’t try it). He has since gone on to many more interesting television and multiemedia experiments.

Richard has surrounded himself with media for his entire professional career. He’s held such diverse jobs as directing newscasts and publishing music magazines, to managing a production company and consulting non-profit agencies. Richard Harrington is the owner of RHED Pixel, a visual communications company. RHED Pixel began producing content for podcasting in 2005, and to date has created more than 1,500 episodes for more than 15 series. RHED Pixel has been called on to produce podcasts of all genres; and have had their shows consistently featured on iTunes. The Project Management Institute certifies Richard Harrington as a Project Management Professional. Trained and certified by Adobe, Apple, and Avid, Rich is a practiced expert in motion graphic design and digital video. His producing skills were recognized by AV Multimedia Producer Magazine who named him as one of the Top Producers. Rich is a featured speaker on the digital video circuit. He has been a featured speaker on podcasting at DV Expo, Podcast & New Media Expo, and Government Video Expo. He also chaired the Podcasting Summit for the National Association of Broadcasters.

Richard believes that we live in a world that is getting increasingly cluttered with confusing messages. His personal philosophy is communicate… motivate… create. A firm believer that media can have powerfully results. He looks forward to speaking with you.
