Managing Director

Jim Receveur is originally from Canada, but has spent the last 20 years resident in Denmark. He was initially employed as Sales and Marketing Director for Copenhagen CHR station “Uptown Radio” before, in 1994, being hired as Group Manager for a radio sales company that included “Uptown Radio” and 25 other regional stations in Denmark.

In 1999 this group was purchased by Clear Channel and Jim was promoted to Scandinavian Director responsible for all Clear Channel’s radio’s operations in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Since 1999 Jim has opened up more that 20 new stations in CHR, AC, Hot AC and News/Talk formats and was declared Clear Channel’s ‘GM of the Year’.

In 2003 he was asked to become the Director of, and launch, Denmark’s first ‘high-powered’ commercial station - Radio 100FM.  Within the first six months Radio 100FM became the largest commercial station in the capital. Currently Jim Receveur is the Managing Director for Radio 100FM, Radio Soft, and the sales company ‘DDR’.
